An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the most secure food manufacturing groups in the World. The plant in Wrexham is one of the UKs flagship food processing manufacturing plants of its kind. They continue to expand, based on the reputation they have built for quality delivery of products to all the major multiples they supply to, they have become an extremely secure employer, in the North of UK.
Responsibilities:
- To carry out and complete to the highest standards the Planned Preventative Maintenance system requirements for site.
- Compile and maintain up to date Maintenance records.
- Accurately record and report all engineering downtime on a daily basis.
- Undertake planned and reactive mechanical maintenance duties and repairs to assets, such as mechanical plant and associated equipment and infrastructure.
- Assist and improve service delivery through the effective use of systems, equipment and processes.
- Develop and evaluate method statements and risk assessments.
- Have a proactive approach in ensuring all plant and equipment is completely operational and fit for purpose.
- Any other ad-hoc exercises as directed by the Site Services Manager.
Requirements:
- Hold a recognised, appropriate multi-skilled apprenticeship.
- Previous experience as a Building Services Technician with a proven track record.
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge of maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and systems related to buildings operations.
- Experience with actuators, sensors, hot water cylinders, pumps, chillers, ventilation, heating and cooling systems and compressed air systems.
- Knowledge of small scale mechanical installation work.
- Knowledge of Hot and Cold Water Systems.
- Be able to carry out Manual work, working at heights and in confined spaces.
- F-Gas Qualification an advantage.
