The Company
My client is one of the UK’s leading process engineering providers of turnkey machinery solutions to a wide variety of fast moving manufacturing industries. They have been established for over 25 years. With a growing presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become a centre of excellence within a variety of technical solutions to the water and clean air industries. Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit an additional service engineer.
Key Skills
- Exposure to a Technical Manager role historically with Product Development involvement.
- Hands on experience working with mechanical and/or electrical products (e.g. pump systems, generators, compressed air) in an applied or commercial environment.
- Engineering, chemistry and/or Chemical Engineering / Environmental science.
- Proven experience in product development, engineering, or technical product management, with responsibility for delivering products from concept through to market launch.
- Working knowledge of chemical product considerations, including safe handling, documentation, and regulatory awareness (e.g. COSHH / REACH environments).
- Proven experience applying structured problem solving and risk management approaches (e.g. FMEA, design reviews, or equivalent).
- Experience creating and managing technical documentation and product data, such as specifications, product files, datasheets, or technical records.
- Experience working cross-functionally, coordinating input from technical, operational, commercial, and supply chain teams.
- Experience leading or coordinating others (directly or indirectly) to deliver technical outcomes.
