The Company
An excellent opportunity has arisen within a world leader in the manufacture of specialist engineered high volume precision components to demanding customers in Aerospace, Medical and Automotive markets. The company has been established for over 50 years and in that time has grown based on its technological development and expertise.
The Role
We are looking for a Machine Setter to support our operations teams. You would be working on CNC spring making equipment, making parts ranging from 0.1mm up to 4.0mm wire diameter with volumes ranging up to over 100m for some parts. We are focused on manufacturing compression springs but also make torsion and wire shapes.
Key Skills
- To set and reset Dual Point coiling machines with CNC controls
- To measure components using dedicated software, monitor & accurately record production quality in line with management system
- Develop new spring manufacturing processes to support high volume manufacture
