The Role
You will have the relevant engineering qualifications and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules together with the day to day management of a small team, including budgetary controls, CMMS systems, and Continuous Improvement. Working with equipment such as boilers, plant and general building services within a manufacturing environment. Working closely with production, operations & technical to improve standards and manufacturing efficiencies. You will be responsible for the training & development of your team and demonstrate knowledge of continuous improvement, PPM systems, reactive maintenance, and budgetary control. In addition to this you will ideally have knowledge and experience of service contracts, site permits, legal compliance, NEBOSH and IOSH and general engineering support, as well as supervising a team of multi skilled engineers and therefore ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the site services in a manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will also have experience of an automated production facility and the ability to work within and mange a team or autonomously as required, you will report into the Factory Manager, and this will lead to a fantastic opportunity to progress your career to senior management within this secure organisation.
