Key Skills

The Role
You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in engineering, with a qualification of HNC or above and have experience being an engineering manager in the past. The role provides an opportunity to make the factory your own & build it from ground up. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, projects, H&S, maintenance and engineering planning. The successful candidate will be a strong people manager & a strong leader from the front. You will report into the Operations Director and be part of the senior leadership team on site. Delivering engineering and projects/manufacturing improvements, with budgetary controls over all these areas. You will need core skills within electrical control systems and instrumentation, together with a good understanding of project management tools, such as Prince2, APM and or Six Sigma. This is a challenging role, which will lead to further responsibility career wise in the future, in this exciting and expanding organisation.
