Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday (days and nights) shifts are 7am/pm - 7pm/am; Friday and Saturday (day and nights) shifts are 7am/7pm - 6pm/am; Sunday day shift is 7am - 6.30pm; Sunday night is 7pm - 7am.

Supplying their products into the varied industries, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become a centre of excellence within the industry they specialise in. Due to further expansion within the UK market, they need to recruit an additional Maintenance Engineer.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering
- Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery
- Understanding of PPM systems
The Role
- Maintenance & Repairs
- Fix breakdowns and faults quickly (reactive maintenance)
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance
- Respond to emergency issues to reduce downtime
- Use a CMMS (computerised maintenance system) to manage jobs
- Installation & Upgrades
- Lead installation of new equipment or modifications
- Work on mechanical and electrical systems
- Ensure all work meets safety regulations
- Continuous Improvement
- Suggest ways to improve machine reliability
- Reduce downtime through process improvements
- Take part in Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement systems
- Documentation & Safety
- Update maintenance records in CMMS
- Perform risk assessments
- Follow permit-to-work systems
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards
Technical Skills
You should be comfortable working with:
- PLC systems
- Electrical systems
- Robotics
- Pneumatics
- Hydraulics (Bonus)
- Injection moulding machines
Qualifications (Preferred)
- ONC in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
- City & Guilds Level 3 in Maintenance Engineering
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382)
