Monday to Friday - 2pm to 10pm

Salary: £36,000 to £40,000 + Pension + Overtime

The Company:

Based within one of the UK's leading food manufacturing companies, our client is a highly profitable and robust company, with over 30 years of manufacturing experience. They are looking to further strengthen their maintenance team, with the addition of an electrical biased engineer.

Key Skills:

  • Apprentice Trained Electrical Engineer
  • Experience of PLC's & Automated Machinery
  • Understanding of PPM Systems in an FMCG Environment

The Role:

With a minimum of a formal apprenticeship in electrical engineering, the successful candidate will have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules and project-based work within an automated environment, with a multi-skilled pedigree. On a day-to-day basis, you will be involved in working with fast-moving equipment. You will be working on manufacturing machinery such as pumps, ovens, mixers, conveyors, robotics, and packaging machinery. The role also requires a proactive approach as you will take part in waste reduction initiatives on site. As part of the maintenance function, you will be actively encouraged to get involved with process improvement initiatives along with planned and preventative maintenance ensuring maximum output and the least amount of disruption to production. The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary and the opportunity to progress technically with time.
