Based within one of the UK’s leading specialists, a privately owned FMCG manufacturing company, my client is looking to recruit an experienced controls specialist to add to their engineering team. The facility in Leeming Bar will benefit from further investment this year, to increase capacity. This manufacturing company is a well-established business supplying into major blue chip manufacturers and is an extremely secure organisation.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience of PLC & SCADA Systems, & Leadership.
- Understanding of PPM Systems within FMCG.
The Role
The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be an engineer and have PPM and TPM manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day projects, automation engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. If you have worked on PLC systems, HMI & SCADA systems, and inverters it would be advantageous, they have a variety of PLCs on site and you will have programming ability on PLC & SCADA systems. You will be able and willing to work on instrumentation, drives, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and other process machinery. There is a huge scope and variety on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
