Multi-Skilled Engineer – Food Packaging Salary: £52,300 + Pension + Bens Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 2 days 2 nights Location: Nantwich Reference: 6649/LW The Company An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s leading privately owned food manufacturers, a growing and supportive organisation. The Company is part of a well established group with over 60 years of manufacturing experience, and deal with the major multiples in the UK. They are looking to expand their engineering team once again due to increased growth in their market share. This will be an excellent opportunity for someone to take on a new challenge, with training and development on offer, leading to excellent career prospects. You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment. The candidate will be working on the whole site such as covering work on the powder plant, butter plant and the skim plant. Key skills and Competencies include:- * Understanding of Electrical Control Automation systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens) * You will be capable of fault finding on pneumatic systems and be competent at metal fabrication and tig welding. * Electrical and mechanical installations will be required from time to time and candidates with PLC, variable speed drives and control circuit fault finding experience will hold a considerable advantage * Mechanically, you need to be competent changing seal kits on a variety of high pressure and low pressure centrifugal pumps. * Mechanical Systems knowledge (Thermal Processes, Pumps, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Valves) * Fast Moving Flexible Packing Production Lines * Effluent Systems experience * Site services to include Steam There will be a great deal of technical development, which will aid your longer term career prospects within this instantly recognisable group.
