Monday to Thursday – 6am to 4pm

My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers within its field of specialist tooling based products and associated processes. The group is a well established producer to the global markets, having plants across the globe; they have been established over 100 years. The site in Dronfield is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this secure organisation.

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment. Machinery will include CNC machines, servo motors, Fanuc spindle drives, hydraulic presses, large furnaces, motors, overhead cranes, thermocouples, shotblast machines. The ideal candidate will come from a CNC machinery background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer, Fanuc spindle drives, hydraulic presses, furnaces, overhead cranes, and thermocouples, you will also be able and willing to be involved in general mechanical work. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
