The Role / Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with mechanical bias (but some multi-skilled knowledge) and have process machinery manufacturing experience. If you have worked on PPM systems, it would be advantageous. You will also be able and willing to work on fans, clutches, drives, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work, including fabrication and welding, together with other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
