The Company

My client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers within their sector who have been established over 35 years. Supplying their products into the varied industries, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become a centre of excellence within the industry they specialise in. Due to further expansion within the UK market, they need to recruit an additional continuous improvements engineer.

The Role

My client is seeking a highly motivated Improvement Engineer with a strong background in electrical systems, industrial controls and mechanical engineering to drive operational excellence across the manufacturing process. The role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, implementing technical improvements, and enhancing equipment reliability.

Main duties:

  • Electrical and Controls Engineering:
  • Analyse and improve performance of electrical systems, PLCs and automated machinery
  • Modify and optimise control systems to improve uptime, cycle time and efficiency
  • Support fault finding and troubleshooting of electrical/control issues within production environments
  • Experience with panel building/wiring and 6 axis programming
  • Work with PLC platforms (e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley) and HMI/Keyence, Omron systems
