Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced controls engineer.

The Role
Looking for a HNC/HND qualified engineer with 18th edition as the candidate must be comfortable modifying and working on 440v control systems. Experience in electrical and control design and development within a heavy environment preferably.
Understanding of the following is needed:
- Inverter drive systems (Siemens, Danfoss and SEW)
- Control Systems for temperature, pressure and analogue systems
- Good knowledge of electrical safety circuits
- Electrical schematics and be able to design from scratch
- Safety systems and their design
- PLC Programming and PLC hardware – preferably Siemens S7
- Robot programming
You will be involved in a variety of projects on site and be the focus from a mechanical point of view process improvement on site. Ongoing training and support within this highly focused group will give the right candidate an opportunity to progress into larger roles within this long-standing group.
