Experience Required
- Proven experience leading large technical teams and developing talent
- Strong knowledge of UK retailer standards (e.g. Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury's, Asda)
- Expertise in food safety, quality systems, and legislation
- A track record of delivering audit excellence and driving continuous improvement
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-moving, complex environment
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the site technical team, ensuring best-in-class standards and compliance
- Deliver the group technical strategy at site level
- Own customer relationships from a technical perspective, ensuring expectations are consistently met
- Drive continuous improvement across technical KPIs, audit performance, and factory standards
- Lead customer audits, visits, and product launches
- Develop and manage joint quality plans with customers
- Use data and insight to improve performance and decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver safe, legal, high-quality products
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in a food-related discipline
- HACCP Level 3 & Food Safety Level 3 Lead Auditor qualification
- Strong understanding of TACCP and food integrity
- Full UK driving licence
