My client is a leader in the manufacture of specialist packaging products and building products. This well-established manufacturer is looking to expand its engineering capacity and is adding to the engineering knowledge at their manufacturing plants near Halesowen. Having recently invested in state of the art machinery, this is a fantastic opportunity to join an extremely secure group, within a well-respected organisation.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of PLCs & Automated Machinery
- Understanding of PPM systems
The Role
You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience being an engineering supervisor/manager in the past. The role provides an opportunity to make the factory your own & build it from ground up, including managing a team of engineers, with a hands-on approach to engineering work and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, projects, H&S, planning maintenance and engineering planning. The successful candidate will be a strong people manager & a strong leader from the front.
