My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of turnkey machinery solutions to the food manufacturing industry. The company has been established for almost 50 years, and they have become a centre of excellence within automated process machinery to the FMCG industry. Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit an additional field service engineer, with mechanical service and commissioning experience.

The Role
The successful candidate will be someone who is a multi-skilled engineer either bias who can install, commission and service a variety of equipment, such as process, labelling, ovens, packaging, and filling lines. In addition, you will be expected to understand and be able to fault find around a variety of process, packaging, bottling and process machinery, all within the factory environment. You will be involved from commissioning the machinery to training the production & engineering staff on site. There must be flexibility in the role in terms of time spent away from home and travelling, as this is a field service engineering role. There is an excellent opportunity for further financial gains with overtime available for the engineers who desire, leading to earnings between £60,000 and £65,000 per annum.
