Location: Knottingley

Salary: £40,000 to £41,300 + Call Out + Pension + Overtime

Days Based Role - Mon-Fri - 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm

Call Out - 1 week in 4 £80 per call out & Overtime @ 1.5x and time back in lieu

My client is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers within its field of premium glass process engineering and associated products supplying into a wide variety of industries. The company is a well established producer to the global markets, having plants in the UK, Europe, Asia, and America. The Knottingley site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with electrical bias (but some multi-skilled knowledge) and have process machinery manufacturing experience. If you have worked on PPM systems, it would be advantageous. You will also be able and willing to work on glass forming machinery, furnaces, clutches, drives, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work, together with other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
