Key Skills * Apprentice Trained Engineer in Mechanical Engineering * Competent Fabricator Welder * Understanding of PPM systems The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on a number of heavy lines, driven by automated machinery. The ideal candidate will come from a medium to heavy engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with a mechanical bias, and have process machinery experience. On a day to day basis you will to be involved in general electrical and mechanical work on crushers, furnaces, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes and other PLC controlled manufacturing heavy machinery.
