The Role
The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background and be able to work on their own initiative. They should be a time-served engineer with PLC experience and a multi-skilled pedigree. Day-to-day tasks include working on a wide range of manufacturing and electrical systems, drives, packaging, conveyors, bearings, pneumatics and cutting machinery. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a variety of manufacturing and electrical systems, drives and pneumatic equipment
- Work on packaging, conveyors, bearings, pneumatics and cutting machinery
- Apply maintenance best practices and contribute to continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Engineering apprenticeship completed or equivalent time-served experience
- Experience with PLCs and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of preventative maintenance (PPM) processes
