Based within one of the UK’s leading manufacturing companies, our client is a highly profitable and robust company, with over 25 years of manufacturing experience. They are looking to further strengthen their maintenance team, with the addition of an electrical engineer.

The Role
With a minimum of a formal apprenticeship in electrical engineering, the successful candidate will have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules and project-based work within a highly automated environment, with a multi-skilled pedigree. On a day-to-day basis, you will be involved in working with fast-moving PLC controlled equipment, so previous experience is essential, including SCADA software analysis. You will be working on manufacturing machinery such as pumps, ovens, mixers, conveyors, robotics, and packaging machinery. The role also requires a proactive approach as you will take part in waste reduction initiatives on site. As part of the maintenance function, you will be actively encouraged to get involved with process improvement initiatives along with planned and preventative maintenance ensuring maximum output and the least amount of disruption to production. The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary and the opportunity to progress technically with time.
