The Company
My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers within its field of specialist metal based products and associated processes. The group is a well established producer to the global markets, and they have been established almost 200 years. The site in Sutton Coldfield is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this secure organisation.
Key Skills
- CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD or equivalent).
- Project Engineering/Management.
- Problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Communication and stakeholder management.
The Role
- Lead projects from concept through to commissioning.
- Produce, review and maintain CAD drawings and technical documentation.
- Specify, procure, install and commission new machinery and manufacturing systems.
- Manage project budgets, schedules and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage contractors, review RAMS and supervise work on site.
- Manage suppliers through specification, FAT, SAT, installation and final handover.
- Drive continuous improvement and manufacturing optimisation.
- Support product development and industrialisation, including engineering trials, prototype builds and the introduction of validated manufacturing processes for new and improved products.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and relevant regulations.
