About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Junior Regulatory Affairs Associate. This position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in regulatory affairs within the dynamic financial markets industry. Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and track regulatory developments and updates
• Map relevant regulatory changes and trends that impact our business
• Prepare reports, summaries, and analyses of regulatory changes and their potential impact, including regular updates and reports for senior management and other key stakeholders.
• Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance records and documentation
• Collaborate with senior team members to receive training and guidance on regulatory affairs
• Conduct research on regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Support the implementation of regulatory strategies and initiatives
• Assist in organisation of team e.g. meetings etc.
Skills required
• Degree educated.
• Experience within a financial institution, at a trade association or similar.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and research skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the financial markets is a plus.
