Overview
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Analyst to join a dynamic risk function within a capital markets environment. This role will play a key part in identifying, analysing, and monitoring risks across the business, ensuring robust risk oversight and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor enterprise-wide risks, including market, credit, counterparty credit, and non-financial risks
- Analyse and interpret market risk metrics (e.g. VaR, stress testing, sensitivities) to identify emerging risks and trends
- Review internal and external company reports, financial statements, and risk disclosures, flagging key concerns and areas of exposure
- Provide insightful risk reporting and commentary to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with front office, finance, and compliance teams to ensure a holistic view of risk across the organisation
- Support the development and enhancement of the enterprise risk framework
- Contribute to risk governance processes, including risk committees and reporting packs
- Proactively identify weaknesses in controls and recommend improvements
Key Requirements
- Proven experience within capital markets in an enterprise or risk-focused role
- Strong knowledge of:
- Market Risk
- Credit Risk
- Counterparty Credit Risk
- Non-Financial Risk
- Ability to interpret and challenge market risk numbers and risk models
- Experience reviewing financial reports and risk disclosures, with the ability to identify and escalate risks
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex risk information clearly
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders
Desirable Skills
- Experience with risk systems and reporting tools
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks within financial services
- Professional qualifications (e.g. FRM, CFA)
