Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Analyst to join a dynamic risk function within a capital markets environment. This role will play a key part in identifying, analysing, and monitoring risks across the business, ensuring robust risk oversight and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor enterprise-wide risks, including market, credit, counterparty credit, and non-financial risks
  • Analyse and interpret market risk metrics (e.g. VaR, stress testing, sensitivities) to identify emerging risks and trends
  • Review internal and external company reports, financial statements, and risk disclosures, flagging key concerns and areas of exposure
  • Provide insightful risk reporting and commentary to senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate with front office, finance, and compliance teams to ensure a holistic view of risk across the organisation
  • Support the development and enhancement of the enterprise risk framework
  • Contribute to risk governance processes, including risk committees and reporting packs
  • Proactively identify weaknesses in controls and recommend improvements

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience within capital markets in an enterprise or risk-focused role
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Market Risk
    • Credit Risk
    • Counterparty Credit Risk
    • Non-Financial Risk
  • Ability to interpret and challenge market risk numbers and risk models
  • Experience reviewing financial reports and risk disclosures, with the ability to identify and escalate risks
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex risk information clearly
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with risk systems and reporting tools
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks within financial services
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. FRM, CFA)
