Lead a major Market Surveillance transformation programme. Our client, a leading global financial institution, is seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead a strategic Market Surveillance transformation programme. This is a high-profile opportunity to deliver complex regulatory and technology change across a global organisation, partnering with senior stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Technology and the Front Office to strengthen market surveillance capabilities and enhance the control environment.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Programme Director who has successfully led large-scale transformation within highly regulated financial services environments.
The Role
- You will take overall accountability for the successful delivery of a strategic transformation programme, ensuring objectives are achieved while maintaining robust governance, regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading programme strategy, planning and execution across multiple workstreams
- Driving governance, executive reporting and programme decision‑making
- Managing programme scope, budget, risks and dependencies
- Building strong relationships across Compliance, Risk, Technology and Business teams
- Leading large, cross‑functional delivery teams and third‑party partners
- Ensuring regulatory, audit and control requirements are embedded throughout delivery
- Driving business readiness, implementation and successful adoption
- Delivering measurable business outcomes against agreed timelines
About You
- You’ll bring strong Financial Services or Investment Banking experience
- Experience leading Market Surveillance, Compliance or Regulatory Change programmes
- Strong governance, financial management and delivery expertise
- Experience leading global, cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Agile and traditional delivery methodologies
