A leading external asset management firm is looking for an experienced Private Banker (Relationship Manager) to join its growing London team. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-connected professional to deliver high-touch wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions.
As part of a client-focused, globally connected firm, you’ll play a key role in growing assets under management while delivering personalized financial advice supported by a network of trusted custodian partners.
What You’ll Do
- Client Relationship Management
- Transition your own book of high-net-worth clients into a tailored service model.
- Act as a primary advisor, delivering bespoke banking and investment solutions in collaboration with leading custodians.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and coordinate with internal teams to support long-term client goals.
- Business Development
- Leverage your existing network to introduce and integrate new clients into the firm.
- Actively prospect new HNW and UHNW individuals, families, and family offices through referrals, networking, and events.
- Maintain a strong pipeline to increase assets under management.
- Wealth Management Solutions
- Collaborate with investment specialists, tax advisors, and custodians to deliver holistic wealth strategies.
- Support client needs across growth, preservation, and succession planning.
- Market Insight & Leadership
- Offer proactive, insight-driven guidance based on market trends.
- Represent the firm at industry events, championing its high-value, partnership-led approach.
- Compliance & Risk
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Monitor and mitigate portfolio risk in line with client objectives and risk tolerance.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience
- Background in private banking, wealth management, or related roles at family offices, private banks, or external asset managers.
- Proven ability to bring and manage a book of HNW clients with a strong track record of increasing AUM.
