Head of Compliance – Confidential FinTech Search

Location: London (Hybrid)

I’m currently working on a confidential search for a Head of Compliance at a fast-growing FinTech firm. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for a large compliance team, including junior staff and recent graduates.

Due to the sensitive nature of the search, only limited details can be shared publicly.

Key Requirements:

  • SMF16/17 approval (currently or previously), or served as a Deputy to an SMF holder
  • Background in FinTech or broader Financial Services
  • Strong working knowledge of Consumer Duty
  • Experience building or delivering Compliance Monitoring Plans (CMPs)
  • Proven ability to lead and develop large, junior-heavy teams
  • Energetic, approachable, and hands-on leadership style
