This role offers an excellent opportunity for a compliance professional to play a key part in strengthening the firm’s financial crime framework. As a Customer Due Diligence specialist, you will focus on supporting various initiatives across financial crime compliance, including KYC onboarding, remediation, and policy development.
- Support the refinement and enhancement of financial crime policies and onboarding procedures.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the financial crime team and wider business.
- Provide guidance to the Account Opening Team on financial crime policies, regulatory requirements, and process queries.
- Assess and escalate financial crime-related concerns as appropriate.
- Support ad hoc financial crime-related projects and tasks as required.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial crime compliance, with solid knowledge of KYC requirements and industry regulations.
Strong understanding of financial markets and institutional client onboarding.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic desktop applications.
Comfortable assessing clients across varying risk levels (high, medium, low).
Experience using external research tools such as Companies House and online databases.
