We are partnering with a global financial services organisation seeking an experienced EMEA Tax Accountant to join its growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong tax professional to work across multiple jurisdictions within a fast-paced, international environment.
The successful candidate will support the EMEA Head of Tax in delivering a broad range of corporate tax and compliance responsibilities across the EMEA region, while contributing to strategic tax initiatives and risk management projects.
Key Responsibilities- Corporate Tax Compliance
- Prepare UK corporation tax returns using Alphatax
- Prepare corporation tax payment calculations for HMRC
- Prepare financial statement tax disclosures for multiple EMEA entities
- Prepare monthly corporate income tax journals across EMEA entities
- Assist with US GAAP income tax provision reporting
- Support the preparation of R&D tax claims
- Assist with drafting UK tax strategy documentation and SAO disclosures
- Coordinate with external advisers regarding overseas tax compliance matters
- Maintain and manage the tax compliance calendar
- AEOI / FATCA
- Support global AEOI compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Complete FATCA/AEOI documentation for counterparties
- Provide guidance to the business on onboarding‑related tax requirements
- Assist with monthly transfer pricing calculations and journals
- Maintain transfer pricing documentation and support compliance requirements
- Employer Tax Compliance
- Prepare annual PAYE Settlement Agreements (PSA) for HMRC submission
- Support initiatives to optimise the group’s effective tax rate
- Assist with identifying and mitigating tax risks
- Provide tax support on commercial transactions and group reorganisations
- Support wider global tax team initiatives
- Liaise with finance and other corporate functions across the business
- Assist with non‑tax projects requiring tax input
- Provide general support and administration for the EMEA tax function
- Strong corporate tax compliance experience within a multinational environment
- Experience preparing UK corporation tax returns and tax provisions
- Knowledge of EMEA tax regulations and cross‑border tax matters
- Exposure to FATCA/AEOI and transfer pricing is advantageous
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
