We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a major infrastructure, resilience and technology uplift programme within a large-scale enterprise environment. Sitting across several strategic workstreams, you will provide the architectural glue between infrastructure tooling, backup and business continuity/disaster recovery initiatives. This is a broad infrastructure architecture role rather than a narrow technology SME position, requiring someone comfortable working across complex and imperfectly documented estates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide solution architecture across multiple infrastructure and resilience programmes, including infrastructure tooling, backup/recovery and BCDR
- Assess solutions at an ecosystem and service level, considering dependencies across compute, storage, network, DNS, NTP, authentication and application infrastructure
- Support the assessment of existing services and their resilience, recoverability and criticality
- Help define and validate RTO/RPO, service criticality and recovery strategies
