We are seeking to appoint a School Staff Instructor (SSI) for the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) RAF Unit at Etone College. The CCF is a Ministry of Defence sponsored youth organisation in the UK, offering young people a broad range of challenging, exciting, adventurous and educational activities.
The School Staff Instructor plays a key role in the leading, developing and expansion of the RAF Cadet Unit. The successful candidate will oversee the efficient running of the contingent, plan and assist with the training/instruction to the RAF Cadet Unit for staff and cadets and take an active role in raising the aspirations of pupils at Etone College and across other Trust Sites.
As part of this role your main working base will be Etone College; however, there will be a requirement to travel and support other Trust Schools (travel expenses available) under the direction of the Senior SSI. Therefore, you must be able to reliably commute.
The successful candidate must have Armed Forces experience, instructional experience and good knowledge of infantry tactics. They must be able to work well under pressure, be committed and create good working relationships with the Armed Services.
