American listed, UK based AI business with both an exciting AI tool and a number of Professional Services AI businesses within the portfolio. A highly acquisitive business looking to build one of the most comprehensive AI groups globally.

Provide legal advice on M&A transactions and investments in the AI/Tech space. Working closely with an M&A team of 6, comprised of experienced M&A specialists, providing legal guidance, advice and support in collaboration with external legal advisors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on and support negotiations on complex legal agreements
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support decision-making and mitigate risks.
  • Draft, review, and finalise legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
  • Stay abreast of legal developments and trends in relevant M&A law to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Desired experience:
  • Proven expertise in corporate law, with a focus on M&A in a top 30 law firm
  • Experience in TMT, especially AI, Software space is desirable
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Familiarity with relevant US, UK and EU legislative frameworks.
