Base pay range

Eton Bridge is working in partnership with a global technology manufacturer supplying safety and communication systems to the building and industrial sectors to hire a highly commercial Finance Director. With operations across Europe, Asia, and North America, the company is recognised for its engineering innovation, strong market share, and long-term growth record.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will partner closely with the leadership team to drive strategy, growth, and operational performance across a global business.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the P&L and balance sheet, driving growth, profitability, cash, and ROI.
• Partner with the MD to shape and deliver strategy and operational discipline.
• Lead financial control, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and governance.
• Manage and develop the Financial Controller (team + SSC Europe) and Head of FP&A.
• Provide financial insight, challenge, and commercial support to the Board.
• Support international expansion and M&A opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA).
• An experienced Finance Director seeking autonomy within a FTSE 100 Group, or a proven No.2 ready to step into their first FD role.
• Experience leading both financial control and FP&A teams.
• International and multi-site experience
• Commercially minded with strong strategic and business partnering skills.
• Pragmatic, hands‑on, and solutions-focused with a can‑do attitude.
