Eton Bridge Partners have been retained on a confidential search to appoint a Head of FP&A for a private equity-backed, multi-entity services group. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will lead all planning, forecasting, and finance business partnering activity across the organisation, acting as a strategic advisor to the CFO, CEO, and wider leadership team. This is a critical hire within a fast-paced, acquisitive environment, supporting growth, performance management, and value creation through robust financial insight and challenge.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead all FP&A and finance business partnering activities, acting as a trusted advisor to the CFO, CEO, and C-Suite.
- Own the delivery of robust budgets, business plans, and forecasts, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities and Board expectations.
- Build and embed a comprehensive planning framework, including long-term strategic planning, continuous reforecasting, recruitment planning, and investment business cases.
- Deliver Board-level reporting, including regular forecasting updates and deep-dive analysis on key performance drivers.
- Support the CFO on strategic initiatives including M&A, integration, and capital raising activity.
- Establish scalable FP&A systems, processes, and controls suitable for a high-growth, PE-backed environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Strong FP&A leadership experience within a private equity-backed environment.
- Proven ability to build and deliver accurate forecasts and credible budgets at Board level.
- High commercial acumen, with the confidence to support and challenge senior leaders constructively.
- Experience supporting strategic projects such as M&A, integrations, or capital raising.
- A proactive, change-oriented mindset with the capacity to add value beyond core planning cycles.
