We’re partnering with a VC-backed, founder‑led international technology business seeking a hands‑on Finance Director to help professionalise and scale the finance function during its next phase of growth. The company develops specialist technology solutions used by government and regulated organisations globally. With revenues of c.£15m and a fully remote operating model, the business has established long‑term contracts and strong technical credibility. The leadership team is entrepreneurial and commercially focused, and is now looking to strengthen its senior finance team.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, you will:
- Lead and build the finance function
- Strengthen governance, controls and reporting frameworks
- Support pricing and commercial decision‑making across complex, long‑cycle sales
- Implement scalable financial processes across an international structure
- Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team
This is a genuine No.1 finance role in a founder‑led environment, suited to someone comfortable being both strategic and hands‑on.
The Profile
We’re looking for an FD / emerging CFO with experience in a VC-backed or scaling technology business who:
- Has built or matured a finance function in a growth environment
