We have partnered with a market leading, high‐growth International business to appoint their new Commercial Finance Analyst to support their continued expansion and transformation.
As a Commercial Finance Analyst you will be part of a high‐performing commercial finance team across all global business‐related finance topics. You will work with a diverse and talented team on many projects and directly influence the success of the company.
Responsibilities:- Operate as a business partner to key operational areas, supporting leadership teams through commercial analysis and consolidated analysis.
- Act as the financial focal point for the designated business areas, providing the management team with financial support and information to enable timely and accurate decision‐making.
- Utilise financial techniques and tools to interpret, analyse and understand monthly performance information, the drivers behind any cost variances and support the preparation of mitigation and action plans to resolve any issues.
- Manage the monthly and quarterly financial forecasting process across designated business areas.
- Support the development of performance reporting metrics and management information for use by programme leadership teams.
- Assist in the implementation of financial systems and processes.
- Have excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Hold or be studying towards an accounting and/or commercial qualification or MBA.
- Have a strong technical background, with the ability to guide and develop others in essential financial skills.
- Display an adaptable and resilient character, capable of coping with changing requirements and multiple priorities while helping the team remain effective.
- Possess experience in business partnering and influencing skills; able to explain and troubleshoot financial issues with non‐finance professionals and inspire them to achieve greater financial performance.
