This is a senior, high-impact Group Financial Controller role focused on restoring control, rigour and confidence across a multi-entity finance function. You will partner closely with the CFO, raise standards across reporting and audit, and help transform a legacy finance environment into a high-performing, well-controlled operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of Group financial reporting, month-end close and balance sheet control.
- Strengthen financial controls, fix underlying process and system issues, and embed consistent ways of working across the Group.
- Lead audit readiness and remediation, addressing historical control weaknesses and building a robust evidence base.
- Act as a senior finance leader and coach, raising capability, accountability and professional standards across the team.
Candidate Profile
- Proven Group Financial Controller or senior financial control experience within a complex, multi-entity organisation.
- Strong technical accounting background (IFRS), ideally with Top 10 audit experience.
- Track record of operating in transformation or βfix-itβ environments with weak or immature controls.
- Hands-on, resilient leader with strong judgement, presence and the confidence to challenge constructively.
