This is a critical leadership role, reporting to the Group CFO, and offers the opportunity to shape the future of the finance function while driving strategic initiatives. This pivotal position oversees a wide remit, consolidating key functions under one umbrella, including: Group Reporting & Controls, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Treasury and Finance Systems. The Group Finance Director will work closely with the Group CFO, senior leaders, and a team of 30-40 direct reports to ensure operational excellence, drive financial insights, and support the company’s strategic initiatives. This role is hands-on and offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in upcoming corporate projects, including ownership restructuring, PE exit processes, and other high-impact financial set pieces.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the consolidation of finance functions, ensuring robust controls, efficient systems, and best-in-class reporting.
- Act as a strategic partner to the Group CFO, contributing to long-term planning and decision-making.
- Drive the delivery of financial insight to support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Provide leadership and development to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Oversee the delivery of large-scale projects, including potential buyouts and restructuring initiatives.
- Be a visible and credible leader across the organisation, working closely with senior stakeholders.
