This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic and evolving business.
The Role
The Finance Director will take full ownership of the finance function and play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s future. This position offers a mix of strategic oversight and hands-on delivery, with an initial focus on driving operational improvements and building strong cross-functional relationships. The role requires extensive international travel, particularly in the first 12 months, to engage with teams in key locations and support transformative initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance team and own the P&L as part of senior leadership.
- Drive profitability through effective product costing, margin analysis, and commercial decision-making.
- Partner with operational teams to identify and deliver efficiency improvements.
- Optimise working capital, with a focus on cash and inventory management.
- Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead the implementation and improvement of ERP and reporting systems.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified accountant with broad finance experience, ideally in manufacturing or similar industries.
