We have partnered with a market leading multi-service retail business, to appoint their new Seanior Head of Commercial Finance to support their continued growth & transformation.
Reporting into the CFO, this is a critical position responsible for driving pace, commerciality and financial performance. You will take ownership of commercial finance, leading financial planning & performance and supporting with a successful integration of people, systems and processes; driving impactful change across the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Strategic & Commercial Leadership: working with senior leadership and finance team acting as a strategic partner to improve performance in business areas and support long-term strategic commercial initiatives.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: leading all aspects of financial planning, performance reporting, retail analysis and developing scenario modelling.
- Commercial Performance & Strategy: identifying future opportunities, delivering financial analysis across the P&L, working capital cycle, and providing commercial data driven insights to improve financial outcomes.
- Leadership & Team Development: integrate & build a leading finance team, driving a first-class performance culture, and improving team engagement & outcomes.
- Business Partnering: owning business partnering approach instituting a high-performance culture to work well with the wider business. Bring the vision and total business understanding to develop partnerships across the business to elevate commercial performance.
- Technology & Integration: supporting the agenda on integrating and harmonising systems, processes, and tech - working in collaboration with the technology team to implement improvements in data analystics, ERP, use of AI tools etc. to unlock additional commercial capabilities.
Candidate Profile:
- Operating in fast-paced multi-site commercial businesses
- Hands-on modelling and analysis capability
- Demonstratable track record of FP&A
- Leadership within commercial finance
