We’re supporting a fast-growing, listed technology company as they continue an ambitious acquisition strategy. They are looking for an experienced M&A finance professional to join them for 4-6 months to take ownership of the finance integration process and the financial due diligence (FDD) — bridging the gap between deal execution and operational finance. This role is based in Central London, with an expectation of 3–4 days a week in the office.
This is not a classic corporate development role and would be ideal for someone who thrives on the technical, financial side of M&A and wants to play a pivotal role in a highly acquisitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial due diligence process across all acquisitions
- Act as the finance point of contact across M&A activity, working closely with the CFO
- Drive post-acquisition finance integration, from accounting alignment to reporting setup
- Identify and resolve key financial risks across acquisitions
- Support systems integration and harmonisation of financial processes across newly acquired businesses
Candidate Profile:
- Extensive experience in financial due diligence, ideally from Transaction Services (Big 4 or Top 10)
- Strong technical finance and accounting knowledge, with a detail-oriented approach
- Prior exposure to M&A environments — in-house or advisory
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rolling up sleeves in a high-growth, fast-paced setting
