Large and acquisitive international Consumer Retail group are looking to hire an Interim Group Reporting Consultant asap for a 6 month interim period, reporting into the Finance Leadership. The expectation is that the assignment will be delivered in a hybrid working pattern…with a combination of remote working and at least 1 day per week in their London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and propose adjustments to acquisition balance sheet
- Work with business to perform valuation work on purchase price allocation exercise
- Support across a number of key technical accounting areas; eg. leases and hedging
- Ad- hoc technical support – eg. update of the accounting policy manual and writing notes to financial statements
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge, including acquisition accounting
- Background to include experience in international businesses of size and scale
- Good excel skills and proven ability to take ownership of key accounting projects
