Role Overview:

At ETM Group, being a Senior Sous Chef is both a senior leadership role and a key part of the kitchen management team. You’re not just supporting the kitchen — you’re instrumental in delivering the culinary vision, driving standards, and ensuring exceptional food experiences that reflect our premium positioning and EPIC values. Across our ETM Collection venues — from rooftop restaurants to refined dining spaces — our Senior Sous Chefs work closely with the Head Chef to lead high-performing kitchen teams. You play a crucial role in delivering seasonal, modern menus with consistency, creativity, and precision, while helping to shape the culture and performance of the kitchen.

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will take ownership of day-to-day kitchen operations, leading service, supporting menu execution, and developing your team. You will act as a key point of leadership in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring standards are maintained at all times while balancing quality with strong commercial awareness. The Ideal Candidate Will Present:

  • Proven Experience: You have strong experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-quality or premium dining environment, ideally within fast-paced kitchens.
  • Leadership Skills: You are a confident and capable kitchen leader, able to support, motivate, and develop your team.
  • Operational Knowledge: You have a solid understanding of kitchen operations, including prep, service, and maintaining high standards under pressure.
  • Financial Awareness: You understand kitchen financials, including GP control, stock management, and minimising waste.
  • Quality & Consistency: You are committed to delivering exceptional food standards with strong attention to detail.
