Role Overview: As a Project Manager at ETL Systems, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering and manufacturing projects that directly support our customers, our operational performance and our wider business growth. Day to day, you will work in a hands-on and highly collaborative environment, acting as the central point of coordination between Engineering, Production, Operations, Sales, customers and suppliers.

You will take ownership of planning, structuring and driving multiple projects at varying levels of complexity. This includes developing clear project plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, identifying constraints, managing risk and ensuring progress stays aligned with agreed timescales, budgets and quality expectations. Much of your time will be spent engaging with colleagues across the business, gathering information, guiding priorities and ensuring everyone has what they need to keep delivery moving.

Your impact will be felt across the full product lifecycle. By bringing structure and clarity to each project, you will help reduce delays, improve communication, strengthen cost control and support smoother handovers between functions. You will ensure that technical requirements are translated into actionable work packages, that issues are raised early and that decisions are made promptly.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain and communicate clear project plans aligned to engineering, production and operational workflows
• Establish project baselines, identify critical paths and continually track progress
• Manage project finances, including forecasting, reporting and cost control
• Produce regular project health reports for the Programme Manager and wider stakeholders
• Proactively identify, manage and resolve risks, issues and dependencies
• Control project scope and highlight potential creep early
• Apply structured project management methods and follow stage gate processes
• Translate technical requirements into actionable work packages
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings, capture actions and drive accountability
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, customers and suppliers
• Support bids and sales functions through accurate project costing input
• Ensure high standards of communication, documentation and project governance

The ideal candidate is a confident and proactive Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment. They will be comfortable managing multiple projects at once, ranging from short three-day activities to more complex three-month programmes, and will bring the organisation, discipline and resilience needed to keep each one on track. The successful candidate will have a genuine can-do attitude, a willingness to dive into the detail and a strong desire to deliver high-quality outcomes for both internal teams and external customers.

Location: Hybrid working is available for this role - We are happy for this role to be based at either London or Hereford location.
