Role Overview: We are looking for an organised, motivated and people‑focused Recruitment Consultant to join our growing People Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from an in‑house or agency background who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with candidates and Hiring Managers.

You will be responsible for delivering efficient, high‑quality recruitment across multiple departments, from vacancy briefing and advertising to screening, interviews, compliance checks and onboarding. You’ll also support career events, talent pooling and early careers activity, contributing directly to ETL’s continued growth and success.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: advertising, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and onboarding working alongside the People Team and Talent & Early Careers Business Partner.
  • Deliver a positive and professional experience to every candidate.
  • Build strong partnerships with Hiring Managers across the business.
  • Keep vacancy pipelines, ATS records and recruitment data accurate and up to date.
  • Complete all pre‑employment checks including Right to Work, BPSS/DBS.
  • Support development of talent pools for frequently recruited roles.
  • Assist with early careers recruitment (apprentices, interns, graduates).
  • Attend careers events, job fairs and outreach activities.
  • Contribute ideas to continuously improve recruitment processes and employer brand.
  • Uphold ETL’s values in every interaction, internally and externally.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast‑paced recruitment environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional candidate experience. You will be confident communicating at all levels, highly organised, and able to manage multiple vacancies while building strong, positive relationships with both candidates and Hiring Managers. A proactive mindset, attention to detail and a genuine interest in contributing to a collaborative People Team will set you up for success in this role.

Previous experience in an agency or internal recruitment role is essential, and we are open to candidates from any industry background.

Hours: The business core hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. We’re happy to consider part-time working, with a minimum of 30 hours per week - let’s chat about what could work for you!

Location: We offer hybrid working for this role, with the flexibility to work remotely up to 40% of the time. Occasionally, additional travel may be required with notice to support our people and operations.
