Role Overview
Reporting to the IT Manager, the Service Desk Analyst will manage day‑to‑day service desk tasks, including answering calls and logging incidents for ETL staff. The role involves handling face‑to‑face interactions up to CEO level, performing initial investigations and troubleshooting for first‑level support calls, and recording solutions in the service desk software. The analyst will also configure new equipment, manage assets, and maintain the asset database. Networking duties may include patching equipment. The position requires a customer‑facing presence, clear communication, willingness to learn new technologies, and could involve travel and overtime.
Key Accountabilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for user support issues across all ETL sites via phone, email or face‑to‑face.
- Log and allocate support calls.
- Assist in maintaining accurate IT‑related inventory records.
- Perform initial investigation and/or troubleshooting of first‑level support calls.
