A leading women’s fashion ecommerce brand in Sydney is hiring a Senior Ecommerce Merchandise Planner to own planning across a pure-play online model. This is the most senior planning role in the business, partnering closely with Buying, Ecommerce, Finance and Marketing to drive sustainable growth.
This role needs someone who understands how a 100% ecommerce retailer trades - forecasting online demand, reacting fast to live performance, and using promo and markdown strategy to protect revenue and margin. It is not a retail allocation-led role.
- Own and deliver the end-to-end ecommerce merchandise plan across sales, margin and stock targets.
- Partner with Buying to shape seasonal range strategy using trading and customer data.
- Forecast demand and reforecast quickly based on live ecommerce performance and market shifts.
- Lead OTB and WSSI to keep stock investment aligned to commercial goals.
- Provide clear trading analysis and direction to senior leaders, influencing decisions in real time.
At least 5 years’ merchandise planning experience, senior level, within women’s fashion and ecommerce.
Pure-play ecommerce planning background, not retail-first with ecommerce as a minor channel.
Strong command of ecommerce trading levers: demand forecasting, rapid reforecasting, promo and markdown impact, online stock flow.
Comfortable operating with high SKU volumes, weekly trade cadence, and messy real-world data.
