A London-based performance apparel brand is hiring a Production Manager to help take ownership of production as the business continues to scale. Up until now, production has been shared across the team. That may have worked when things were smaller, but the supplier base has grown, the product range is expanding, and there are now more launches, timelines and moving parts to manage properly.
This role could suit someone already operating at Production Manager level, or a strong Production Coordinator ready to step up into a broader, more ownership-led role.
The focus of the role:- Managing production from development sign-off through to delivery
- Supporting the growth and structure of the production function
- Working closely with suppliers to manage timelines, quality and delivery
- Keeping product moving smoothly across critical path stages
- Acting as a key link between product, suppliers, logistics and internal teams
- Managing production timelines and tracking progress with factories
- Supporting bulk delivery schedules and shipment coordination
- Helping own and maintain the critical path
- Working closely with suppliers to resolve issues and keep orders moving
- Coordinating quality control processes and managing issues proactively
- Supporting communication across product, warehouse and finance teams
- Helping improve processes and bring more structure as the business grows
- Managing production administration and delivery details accurately
- You’ll be part of a growing product-led brand with a strong reputation in technical performance apparel
- You’ll have genuine ownership and visibility across production, rather than sitting in a narrow support role
- The business is still lean, so your impact will be seen quickly
- You’ll work closely with product and leadership teams as the brand continues to scale
- There’s real opportunity to grow with the business over time
- Experience within apparel production, sportswear, activewear or a related category
- Someone organised and proactive who enjoys keeping things moving
- Experience working with suppliers, factories and delivery timelines
- Understanding of production processes, quality control and critical paths
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Commercial awareness and good attention to detail
- A hands-on mindset and willingness to take ownership
But processes are still evolving, there’s a hands-on element to the role and people are expected to take initiative and solve problems. The upside is real exposure, real ownership, and the opportunity to grow with a highly respected performance-led brand.
