About Etio
At Etio, we help governments and institutions improve education at scale. Formerly the government services arm of Tribal Group, our work is grounded in evidence, experience, and impact. We support system-wide reform – from strategic planning and workforce development to performance benchmarking – delivering solutions that elevate learning outcomes and transform futures.
The Role: Solution Implementation Manager
This is not a pure project manager role. It’s for someone who is hands-on, solution-focused, and technically curious – someone who can not only coordinate and deliver but also contribute to the technical conversation.
You’ll shape, lead, and deliver the rollout of complex digital solutions, balancing project discipline with technical engagement. You’ll bring energy and clarity to delivery while being confident enough to challenge and support technical teams, helping align business needs with solution design and technical decisions.
This role suits someone who:
• Has a keen interest in technology, is aware of emerging tools and approaches, and can bring that insight into discussions.
• Thrives on translating strategic intent and requirements into practical solutions.
• Can engage confidently with developers, architects, and engineers – asking the right questions, surfacing risks, and encouraging best practice.
• Brings structure, drive, and problem-solving skills to move complex projects from intent to successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end planning and deployment of new technology platforms, digital services, and product features.
• Actively contribute to technical discussions, supporting alignment of requirements, design, and implementation.
• Coordinate internal technical teams and external vendors – ensuring collaboration, clarity, and accountability.
• Shape and deliver scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions by aligning off-the-shelf capabilities with delivery needs.
• Proactively challenge and refine stakeholder needs, balancing usability, readiness, and long-term value.
• Manage risk, dependencies, and change across multiple workstreams while keeping delivery momentum.
• Ensure smooth transitions into live service, including go-live readiness, handover artefacts, and operational support.
What You Bring
• A solution-focused mindset – you don’t just run processes, you help shape outcomes.
• Strong delivery and coordination experience with proven ability to lead implementations.
• Confidence in engaging in technical conversations, translating requirements, and constructively challenging design and approach.
• Hands-on comfort with digital platforms, integration concepts, and delivery tools (experience rather than deep coding expertise).
• Ability to balance structure and flexibility in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Clear communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications / Experience (Essential):
• Degree or equivalent experience in project management, systems delivery, or business technology roles.
• Experience leading solution rollouts and engaging with technical teams.
Desirable:
• PRINCE2, AgilePM, or similar certifications.
• ITIL or service transition qualifications.
• Familiarity with delivery tools (e.g. Monday.com, MS Project, Confluence).
