The role holder will report to the Facilities Manager, supporting the efficient operation of plant facilities, and ensure smooth management of administrative processes. The individual will collaborate closely with various departments, including Production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering, to ensure the maintenance of high operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards. This will involve strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and schedule servicing and inspections, ensuring timely bookings and adherence to maintenance timelines.
- Schedule and manage day-to-day contractor inductions and access, ensuring smooth entry and compliance with facility protocols.
- Generate and manage purchase orders (POs) using SAP to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Compile and enter data from plant governance meetings into relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Prepare for and participate in audits and inspections by regulatory agencies, ensuring the facility meets all compliance requirements.
About you: Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of cGMP and experience working in the pharmaceutical or a similar industry. You will be a detail-oriented and proactive professional with experience in plant and facilities management. With strong organizational and problem-solving skills, you will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of facilities while prioritising safety, efficiency, and compliance.
Basic qualifications and skills:
- Educated to A/Level or equivalent standard.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in plant or facilities management.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Experience of Inventory Management (Record Keeping).
