We’re seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead HR operations across our UK and Shanahan (Ireland) business units, reporting to the Snr Vice President – Human Resources. This fixed term role plays a key part in shaping our people strategy, driving HR excellence, and supporting local and global leaders through a period of transformation. You’ll oversee the full HR lifecycle, inclusive of talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, employee relations, and compliance, in collaboration with HR subject matter experts while guiding a small HR team and partnering closely with senior leadership.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders both on a local and international level to align HR strategy with business goals.
- Oversee core HR programmes in collaboration with global HR specialists, including compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, and learning & development.
- Provide expert guidance to managers and HR specialists on complex HR matters.
- Manage complex employee relations processes.
- Work with recruitment teams to ensure timely hiring of high quality talent.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and maintain up to date HR policies.
- Prepare and upload monthly UK payroll for process by our external payroll provider.
- Support professional development and coaching for the UK HR team.
- Contribute to global HR initiatives as required.
Required Skills / Knowledge
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem solving abilities.
- Clear and current understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Irish employment legislation or knowledge of legislation in our jurisdictions would be advantageous.
Experience
- Proven leadership capability and experience managing HR teams.
- Highly proficient with HRIS platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
Education Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, is preferable, however an alternative degree combined with the relevant experience will be considered.
